After leaving the liberal St. Peter's Seminary, belonging to the diocese of London, Ontario, Canada, on March 17, 1987, Mr. Michael Dupuis was soon accepted into the SSPX seminary in Flavigny France, the Séminaire du St. Curé d'Ars. Because of difficulties learning French, Mr. Dupuis was very soon transferred to an SSPX boys' school in Bitche, France, the École de l'Étoile du Matin, where he spent 8 months teaching and supervising the boys.
After this experience, Mr. Dupuis also studied at the SSPX school, St. Mary's College in St. Marys, KS, where he spent four months. At the invitation to Fr. James Doran, Mr. Dupuis went to work at the SSPX publishing house, Angelus Press in Kansas City, MO, where he stayed for nearly a year. After leaving the Angelus, and after moving to Toronto, Canada, Mr. Dupuis assisted at the local SSPX chapel, the Church of the Transfiguration in Toronto. Mr. Dupuis is known for being a very vocal opponent of injustice and hypocrisy, and he co-authored a book with Mr. John Thomson and Fr. Keith Roscoe (entitled: "Are Today's Seminaries Catholic?") which exposed the errors and abuses he found at St. Peter's Seminary in London, Ontario.
After he strongly opposed a lottery organized by the SSPX, where the first prize was a trip for two to the topless beaches of Cancun Mexico, Mr. Dupuis discovered a massive cover-up by SSPX authorities. Police were called to the SSPX church in Toronto on Jan. 6, 1998, and Mr. Dupuis was physically dragged out of the church by two police officers under the watchful eyes of Fr. Jacques Emily of the SSPX. The police eventually released Mr. Dupuis, but only after searching him for weapons (they didn't find any), handcuffing him, and holding him for questioning. Since that time, Fr. Emily has been pursuing Mr. Dupuis in court with charges of trespassing.
Mrs. Veronica Eden (woman from an SSPX chapel)
Mrs. Veronica Eden is a widow with three children, and 8 grandchildren. Before she began attending Mass at SSPX Mass centers, Mrs. Eden had vocally opposed wrongdoings and abuses at the hands of the clergy in her local parish. Mrs. Eden is known for strongly defending the Church she loves. Mrs. Eden also opposed the SSPX lottery to the topless beaches of Cancun Mexico.
