It's official.
Internationally known cult expert Rick Ross has added the Society of St. Pius X (SSPX) to his list of links on his cult information website.
The actual link added by Mr. Ross connects to the website called "Agenda",
which is maintained by Mr. William Grossklas of Chicago, and can be found
on Mr. Ross's website at:
http://www.rickross.com/links.html
under the heading "Society of St. Pius X - SSPX".
While the presence of a link on Mr. Ross's website does not imply an endorsement by him, such a link on a high profile website like Mr. Ross's will certainly draw more attention to the SSPX among other cult experts worldwide, and will increase the awareness of the cultic nature of the SSPX among the general public.
Mr. Ross has testified in numerous court cases across the United States and has also acted as a consultant to law-enforcement agencies. He has also provided information to Newsweek and ABC Evening News on dangerous groups and the techniques they often use to recruit and retain members.
The "Agenda" website includes reports of gun stockpiling and neo-Nazi tendencies at the SSPX center in Kansas. Also included is the story of Fr. John Rizzo, an insider who blew the whistle on questionable practices by the SSPX, and how the SSPX then tried to silence and discredit him.
Mr. Ross is not the first to suggest that the SSPX is a cult. On April
29 of this year the Italian General Direction of Preventive Police submitted
a report on cult activity in Italy to the Italian parliament. This police
report summarizes the current state of Italian police investigations into
the activities of cults in Italy, and identifies the SSPX as one of those
organizations being investigated by the police. The General Direction of
Preventive Police co-ordinates the intelligence activities of the various
police forces in Italy. The original report (in Italian) by the Italian Police can be found on the website of the University of Milan.

Internationally known cult expert Rick Ross has added two more websites on the Society of St. Pius X (SSPX) to a growing list of links on his cult information website.
Mr. Ross provides information on several cult groups, such as Scientology, Hare Krishna, Unification Church, and The Children of God. There is also a growing section on the Society of St. Pius X, which now includes the website called "Agenda", which is maintained by Mr. William Grossklas of Chicago, and has been expanded to include the websites www.sspx-schism.com and www.sspx-cult.com, which tell the story of police being called to drag a man out of an SSPX church in Canada. While the former of these two new websites deals with specifically church-related issues, the latter is specifically geared towards proving that the SSPX is a cult, and includes links to stories on the deaths of teenage boys at an SSPX summer camp in France, as well as to the report by the Italian Police on cult activity in Italy. The SSPX was named in that report as a suspected cult.
